IEEE Student Branch Established at AUT, Elects New Board Members

We are thrilled to announce the official establishment of the IEEE Student Branch at AUT! Following weeks of dedication and hard work by our students, the petition to establish the branch was accepted by IEEE last week, marking a significant milestone for our university’s Computing community.

The establishment of the IEEE Student Branch opens up a myriad of opportunities for students to engage, collaborate, and innovate in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. With a focus on fostering professional development and technological advancement, the IEEE Student Branch will serve as a hub for students passionate about exploring the frontiers of computing.

In conjunction with the establishment, the student body held elections to select the inaugural board members who will lead the IEEE Student Branch. We are proud to introduce the newly elected board:

Vice Chair: Joe youness
Secretary: Mark chbat
Treasurer: Clara chalhoub
