Last Saturday, the American University of Technology, IEEE Computer Society Lebanon Chapter, and the IEEE Young Professional Lebanon Chapter organized the TechX’24 conference, which brought together over 100 students from diverse Lebanese universities to AUT for a day of exploration and innovation. The morning session kicked off with a stimulating panel discussion titled “The Lebanese High-tech Industry: Reviving the Economy,” featuring insights from industry leaders and experts. Attendees delved into the challenges and opportunities facing Lebanon’s tech sector, sparking lively discussions and ideas for growth.
Throughout the day, attendees had the chance to participate in various talks by IEEE Computer Society and Young Professionals, gaining valuable knowledge and networking opportunities. Parallel technical workshops provided hands-on learning experiences, covering topics ranging from software development to emerging technologies.
