Saint-Jean Secondary School (“Saint-Jean” – Okaïbé) held its annual General Assembly for its teaching staff on September 8, 2026, in the Santa Clara Hall, in the presence of Fr. Robert Dakache, School Director, and Fr. Charbel Chemali, Secondary School Director and coordinator of the event.
The gathering included a training workshop titled “Understanding and Supporting Generation Z,” led by Dr. Pierre Khoury, Assistant Vice President for Community Outreach at the American University of Technology (AUT) and former Dean of its Faculty of Business Administration, whose expertise lies in studying this generation’s behavior within educational and professional institutions.
The Assembly included an exchange session and practical simulation between the trainer and the teachers, followed by an open discussion focused on actionable recommendations for classroom application. It also featured a workshop titled “Concrete Strategies for Boosting Classroom Engagement,” which included exercises, scenarios, and specific action plans, before a closing synthesis session.
