AUT organized an awareness seminar on workers’ rights and labor law in collaboration with the Lebanese Observatory for the Rights of Workers and Employees, attended by Dean Dr. Pierre El Khoury and presented by Mr. Issam Ridan.
The event was opened by AUT Director Dr. Mohamad Daher, who emphasized the importance of preparing students for the labor market by increasing their legal and professional awareness.
Dr. Pierre El Khoury highlighted the importance of promoting legal culture among youth, while Mr. Issam Ridan discussed key aspects of Lebanese labor law and workers’ rights through practical examples and real-life experiences.
The seminar witnessed strong student engagement through discussions and questions about employment contracts, social security, and professional rights.
