In presence of AUT President and senior staff, municipal leaders and Lions Clubs past governors, students of Nutrition at AUT that conducted the two-month diabetes awareness campaign were recognized for their effort in community service.
VP Marcel Hinain and Nutrition chairperson Jessica Maalouf spoke about the campaign and congratulated students on their dedication in community service. Hinain thanked the municipalities of Halat, Blat, Jbeil, Nahr Ibrahim’, Amshit, Ghalboun, Zgharta and the Douma club for their cooperation and thanked the Jbeil Universal and Kaslik Marine Lions Clubs for their financial support.
Student Abla Karam shared her experience with the audience and expressed gratitude to AUT for the valuable experience offered to her through this campaign while Lions past governors Marcelle Salameh and Gaby Gebrayel spoke of the useful collaboration established with AUT in many fields including diabetes awareness and praised VP Hinain who is also the president of Jbeil Universal Lions club.
