Student Complaints Procedure
..
Who can make a complaint under this procedure?
Current post graduate in Laws students or fresh graduates can file complaints related to the RTC or UoL and must be made directly by the students or fresh alumni. Forms A, B and C are available for that.
When you file a complaint, you are strongly advised to write clearly and concisely identifying the main problem and telling us what your desired outcome is. It is also important to provide documentary evidence to support your claims.
Anonymous complaints can be filed if the student does not wish to reveal his/her name. Check the google form here:
We recommend filing complaints not longer than a month after an event happened that caused dissatisfaction. Complaints filed after a month has passed will not be considered.
Types of complaints
A complaint can be related to various issues:
- An action taken by the RTC
- The quality of the delivery or administration of the LLM by the RTC,
- the quality of teaching at the RTC
- the responsiveness of RTC faculty
Complaints about UoL module scoring, academic decisions or the outcome of a disciplinary process by UoL cannot be filed with the RTC but directly to UoL
Escalation of complaints
Escalation of your complaint to a higher RTC official is possible if you are not satisfied with the result of a complaint. Each of the forms A, B and C includes relevant information.
A panel made up of the RTC coordinator, a faculty member and the Business Development director will issue the final decision after the escalation of a complaint. The deadline for the final appeal is fourteen working days after an escalation.
Students who file complaints can request a face-to-face discussion with the first recipient of the complaint at the RTC or via video conferencing.
Complaints that are unresolved by the RTC after escalation can be referred to UoL.
