Over two days, a group of 25 students from Akkar had the chance to attend a workshop that tackled several consequences of climate change .
The workshop was organized by Tammouz Center in collaboration with AUT and Hans Seidel Stiftung.
Speakers from AUT and  Club des Sciences shed light on the effects of temperature rise on animal and plant life and on geomorphology. Other topics covered causes of climate change and agricultural practices changes made necessary. Water scarcity was also addressed by AUT’s professors Anthony Ouba and Georges Rammouz.
