An AUT delegation headed by President Ghada Hinain, and including Provost Hanna Makhlouf, North Campus Director Elias Khalil, and Trustee Ihab Mattar visited the commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, General Joseph Aoun, to sign a memorandum of understanding that strengthens the collaboration between the two institutions.
The agreement includes clauses that give preferential admissions and financial terms to members of the armed forces and their families.
The signature was preceded by a conversation about the higher education needs of army officers, and the programs offered by AUT that would cater for their needs, specifically the new programs in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and the well-established program in Transport and Logistics.
