A conference on diabetes awareness took place at the Amioun Municipal House organized by AUT North Campus and External Relations.
Nini hospital Dr Rania Mais, AUT Dean of Research George Rammouz and Nutrition Chair Paola Labaky covered all aspects of diabetes answering questions by the audience which included Koura town mayors and MP Georges Atallah.
At the conclusion, VP Hinain offered souvenir plaques to Dr Mais and to Mr Fares Malek.
This is the second initiative by AUT for its North Campus, after the water quality testing performed from samples taken from three different sources in the Koura area
