On Wednesday 27 January, AUT Hospitality Management students enrolled in the Housekeeping course visited Le Royal Hotel in Dbayeh in order to observe and experience the work of an actual housekeeping department in a 5 star hotel.
Students participated in cleaning guest rooms and suites, applied the methods used to inspect ready vacant rooms and visited the hotel’s laundry department where the executive housekeeper gave them a detailed explanation on how an on-premise laundry facility is operated and managed.
The group was led by instructor Dina Khlat who wanted to end the course with a day of applied work.
