CREATE 2025: AUT Delegation Engages in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Activities in Germany

Last week, our CREATE 2025 delegation—comprising six outstanding students, winners of the competition from Lebanese American University (LAU) and American University of Science and Technology (AUST), and faculty members Sajida El Othman and Cynthia Zouein from the American University of Technology (AUT), along with our distinguished partner Rudy Shoushany—returned from an enriching academic and innovation-focused visit to Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (H-BRS) in Germany.
This visit was part of the CREATE 2025 project, supported by DAAD German Academic Exchange Service, which has engaged students from major universities across Lebanon and attracted over 50 innovative project ideas this year.
During the trip, our delegation participated in joint workshops, collaborative sessions with H-BRS faculty and their industry partners, and a highly inspiring visit to the DIGITALHUB.DE in Bonn, where we explored Germany’s dynamic startup ecosystem and digital innovation landscape.
This experience not only broadened our students’ perspectives but also strengthened the academic and entrepreneurial ties between Lebanon and Germany—an essential step in our mission at CREATE to empower young innovators and foster global partnerships.
We look forward to welcoming an H-BRS delegation to AUT on December 11 for the final dissemination event of CREATE 2025.
Proud of our students, grateful to our partners, and excited for what comes next.
