AUT Students Take Part in the 21st Arab Media Forum in Beirut

Students from the American University of Technology (AUT), Aya El Baaini and Anthony Eid, represented the university’s Media Department at the 21st Arab Media Forum, held in Beirut on October 29 and 30, 2025. This year’s forum was themed “Media and Development: Partners of the Present, Allies of the Future.”

The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of the President of the Lebanese Republic, General Joseph Aoun, alongside the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and the Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, Counselor Madi Al-Khamis. The forum gathered ministers, ambassadors, political leaders, and media professionals from Lebanon and across the Arab world.

Throughout its sessions, the forum explored a wide range of topics, including content creation, digital media, artificial intelligence, and the role of media in driving social and economic development. Leading Arab media experts and journalists contributed to the discussions, offering valuable insights into the evolving landscape of communication in the region.

For the AUT students, participation in this prestigious event provided an exceptional opportunity to engage directly with experienced media professionals, exchange ideas, and gain practical exposure to real-world media practices.

At the closing ceremony, Aya El Baaini and Anthony Eid were each awarded certificates of participation in recognition of their active involvement and distinguished representation of AUT.
