Tripoli Basket Ball Team in Jordan |
|
|
|
The Tripoli basket ball team spent 5 days in Jordan for
games against Al Wahadat team
and against the Amman University team.
Results were 2 victories against Al
Wahadat (98-94 and 86/48) and a loss against
University of Amman (64-66).
The team had the opportunity to tour in
Jordan and enjoy
the historic sites. |

Seif, all on AUT’s
Basket Ball team, represented AUT
in the Street Ball tournament organized by NDU and won the
cup for the college division. AUT
also won the first 3 positions in the shooting competition.

Tripoli Soccer Team Ranks Second in Tournament
|
|
The Tripoli soccer team of
AUT
reached the 2nd position in a tournament organized by Manar
university grouping other universities like NDU, USEK, LAU, C and E,
UOB, BAU. In the final game the AUT
team lost 5 to 8 against the host university after having defeated
all other university teams. AUT's
Fouad Assaf was voted Best Player in the tournament.

Successful Basket Ball Camp for AUT
Team in Dubai
The AUT
basket-ball team came back to Lebanon after spending 6 days
in Dubai training and competing against local teams. The
match against the UAE basket-ball champion club, Wassel and against 2nd
national club, Nasser, allowed AUT
players to test their skills. The trip also allowed for
contacts with American University in Dubai sports
coordinator in view of events involving both institutions.
All in all, a rewarding
tirp.

AUT’s BasketBall season launched with
Faculty/Students Match
The now traditional Faculty/Students BasketBall match
took place on December 1st on AUT's
court and was followed by a match between the
Halat and Tripoli student
teams.
Results came as follows:
Faculty/staff vs. Students: 48 - 56
AUT Halat team vs. AUT
Tripoli team: 66 – 66.
