- The Fidar campus located on the Byblos highway is undergoing a major expansion. It is convenient for students coming from North Metn, Kesrwan, Byblos and the North. Work to add 4 buildings started in April 2001. The central building, the Agora, is in the final phase and already hosts state-of-the-art computer labs, sound and audio studios as well as classes all wired to the internet.
- Students dormitories will be available as of February 2011, but the towns of Fidar and Halat provide enough residential space to foreign students already.
- The distance from Beirut to Fidar is 38 kms and from Fidar to Tripoli it is 45 kms.
- The student/computer ratio is 3 to 1 placing AUT at the top of the universities of Lebanon in terms of IT availability to users. The computer labs include IBM and I-Mac terminals.
- Wireless outdoor access to the internet is available since 2001.
- All classrooms are equipped with laptop connections, monitors and LCD projectors and are connected to the internet to make learning adapted to the modern methodologies of learning.
- Class size does not exceed 30 students, thus enhancing the interaction between instructors and students.
- AUT employs over 90 staff members and 110 faculty members.
- AUT Fidar campus is built on an area of 23000 square meters.
