The Hospitality and Marketing Department at
organized a training workshop under the name “Innovative
Thinking in Looking for a Job”. This workshop is part of the
professional training seminars that are going to be launched by
the School of Business during this academic year. In the first
part of the workshop, Mr. Naji Bejani, the trainer, talked about
the four most important personality features that companies look
for in a candidate during a work interview. The second part of
the workshop was dedicated for role-plays. Mr. Bejani chose two
students to interview. One was interviewed by him and the other
was interviewed by the human resources managers of Crepaway and
Roadsters who came to participate in this workshop and to
recruit students. At the end of the interviews students were
asked to grade the interviewees based on the four criteria that
were mentioned in the workshop. The feedback received from the
attended faculty and participating students was very positive.
They believe that such kind of educative workshops tend to catch
the interest of students more than a course lecture.
