Mission Statement

The American University of Technology (AUT) Alumni Association is committed to building community among AUT alumni and friends, providing opportunities for service and inspiring alumni to be ideal members of their society, thereby fostering pride in and for AUT. The mission of the Alumni Association of AUT shall be to advance the interests of AUT and its alumni through advancing its mission, vision and values.

Vision

In fulfilling our commitment to inspire alumni to be ideal members of their societies and to work towards the advancement of AUT, the Alumni Association will:

• Investigate and implement creative and innovative communications, technology and other means to connect AUT and its mission into the lives, homes, and communities of alumni worldwide.

• Establish chapters that emphasize the building of alumni relationships regardless of age, gender, race, religion, and vocation encouraging community service as a central means to be AUT local expression in their regions or areas of interest.

• Call alumni to serve as mentors in career services, admissions, development, and other university networking endeavors.

• Initiate programs that celebrate the achievements, excellence and reputation of AUT and its alumni.

• Develop specific strategies, with the guidance of the development office, to promote financial support to the university.

• Encourage chapter leaders to develop events leading to increased alumni participation across the generations.

• Inspire alumni to be more openly supportive of the value and quality of AUT education.
